Veronica Vallelonga is a founding partner of Devichy Avocats and Head of the Family Law and Youth Protection Department. Known for her exceptional interpersonal skills and deeply human approach, she is the relational heart of the firm. Highly present and accessible, she personally responds to a large number of client inquiries and supports individuals from the very first moments of their legal journey, often during periods of significant emotional vulnerability.
Early in her career, Veronica quickly distinguished herself by taking on complex and demanding criminal law cases. Her independence, determination, and entrepreneurial vision later led her to achieve a major milestone: building, from the ground up, a family law department within a firm that was initially focused on criminal law. Today, this department stands as one of the core pillars of Devichy Avocats.
Equally comfortable in negotiations and in the courtroom, Veronica is recognized for her outstanding work ethic and unwavering commitment to her clients. She deploys every necessary effort to help them regain stability and peace of mind when facing a family crisis. Her empathetic, human, and mobilizing approach largely explains the strong cohesion and loyalty of the team she has built around her.
Her expertise is also recognized beyond the courtroom. Veronica has served as a guest speaker at the Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Law, where she shared her practical experience and her vision of family law with the next generation of legal professionals.
Veronica completed her university studies at McGill University and Université Laval. She is fully bilingual in French and English, and also speaks Italian.
