Before joining Devichy, Tamara practiced tax litigation at a major law firm, where she notably drafted relief and objection requests as well as voluntary disclosures to tax authorities. She also worked closely with auditors and contributed to the preparation of examinations and strategic arguments before the courts.

With a strong interest in social justice, she was selected as an advisor for Projet Genèse, where she supported citizens on issues related to housing and social assistance. She also participated in a student-run pro bono organization focused on privacy rights for the hearing-impaired and completed training on the regulatory frameworks governing non-profits at the Université de Montréal.
