Vivan Nguyen is one of the few lawyers to focus most of her work on the defense of families undergoing DYP intervention. We have recruited her to our team because of her exceptional dedication to these files and in view of her exceptional academic background.
She won four merit scholarships at the Faculty of Law, carved out a place on the Dean’s Honor List and earned a research and writing internship at the Quebec Court of Appeal. For those less familiar with the field of law, this is the kind of accomplishment that appears on the CVs of top lawyers.
Before joining our team, Vivan demonstrated her talent in handling difficult cases. For example, she won equal parenting time in a parental alienation case. She also obtained unsupervised parenting time to the home in a case where the DYP requested a suspension of contact between the parent and the child.
Vivan is known for her intellectual rigor, but also for her dedication to families, and above all, to children. She works in youth protection cases and in family law & divorce cases.
